By default, products are shipped from Sendero in California via UPS Ground, 5 to 7 days IN TRANSIT to the East Coast after the order is ready to ship. Choose the Rush shipping option for an additional $20 if you wish to reduce the shipping time to 3 days.

i.d. mate Summit, available at the end of March/beginning of April, is a portable electronic device that scans the bar code or UPC on an item and can identify that item and much more! The i.d. mate Summit can be used at home or on the go to identify cans, jars, boxes, bottles, clothing, playing cards, prescription drugs, CDs, DVDs, albums, cassette tapes, pictures, important documents and the list goes on and on! In fact, any item that is not easily identifiable by means of the other senses is a candidate for i.d. mate Summit.

i.d. Mate Summit has updated its database to include over a million items! Many of the descriptions contained in this database provide extended package details beyond just the description. Examples of the extended data include:

  • Instructions
  • Ingredients (Song list on CDs)
  • Nutritional Information
  • Package Size
  • Warnings
  • Miscellaneous package details

i.d. mate Summit Features

  • Portability Measures 6" long and weighs less than 7 ounces.
  • No PC required Although it integrates fully with a PC, you don't have to be PC literate to use. It's as easy to use as a cassette player!
  • Easy to personalize i.d. mate Summit allows the user to associate any number of recorded voice messages with a scanned bar code. When that bar code is scanned in the future, the recorded descriptions are played back.
  • Memo Recorder In addition to identification of products, i.d. mate II can be used as a digital memo recorder. The user can use it to record, play, and erase any number voice memos.
  • Omni-directional Scanner New cyclone scanner for an insanely fast and accurate read. There is no need to visually locate the bar code on the label. The omni-directional scanner can read the barcode in any direction. The user simply rotates the scanner around the product to get a reliable read every time. The Omni-directional scanner is completely portable and is enclosed in handy carrying case for protection.
  • Uses standard removable SD memory cards The standard SD card that ships with the Summit has 2 gigabytes of memory. So, storage issues for huge databases are no longer a factor. As for recorded messages, the user can get many many hours of record time on a single card.
  • Battery operated for portability. Lithium Polymer (Li-Poly) batteries for 6-8 hours of extended battery life.
  • Easy Sound Controls Volume control and an ear plug jack for privacy.

The i.d. mate Summit package includes the following: i.d. mate Summit digital voice recorder; hand-held omni-directional Bar Code Scanner; Carrying Case with shoulder and waist straps; Li-Poly batteries; power adapter; 100 Pre-printed Bar Code Labels (used for items that don't have an existing barcode); first database update free; and 2 GB Card.
